All of us have to speak in public, to a greater or lesser extent, in the course of our working lives. Most people's career prospects/continuity can be considerably enhanced by being able to speak confidently to large or small groups, in board or committee meetings, departmental meetings and even one to one. Above all, good communication skills are not just important to salespeople or politicians. Clear, concise, audible and authoritive communication skills are valuable to everyone in the private and public sector... and even in our private lives e.g. Parent Teachers Evenings, the best man, social/family gatherings of any type and even inter personal relationships.

Above all, good communication skills do not simply depend on natural talent handed out at birth. Communication skills can be learnt, developed and finely honed. As with most talented people a frequently used phrase is "the more I practice the luckier I get". Joseph Swain Media can coach small groups, up to say 6 people at a time, or even individuals. The latter can be executed in total confidence. The only pre qualification is that participants genuinely want to improve their presentation skills. All courses are personalised and ideally run over 6- 8 weeks to allow sufficient time for the preparation of presentations and practice i.e. say 2 hours of formal training a week plus 'homework' assignments.
