| Homepage | Management and Motivational TrainingTraining staff to train others. It is a false assumption that highly skilled individuals are somehow equally skilled at imparting their skills/knowledge effectively and professionally. Indeed, many highly skilled professionals either fail to analyse exactly what makes them so effective or have a fear of sharing their knowledge. the latter is particularly true of salespeople. Management and motivational skills are very separate disciplines from the executive skills a member of staff may already possess. Indeed, some talented managers and leaders are not as talented in individual skill areas as their top executives. Motivational skills, for instance, can dramatically influence the success and productivity of any firm yet many managers have never had any formal training to establish what motivates staff and the fact that these motivational drivers can vary between individuals and/or groups of individuals. The performance and attitude of some individuals can improve exponentially when they are well managed and motivated. The most visible evidence of this in sport where a change of manager or coach can have a dramatic impact. |
